The first thing to know about socialising in MapleStory EU is that most people do not have English as their native language. Clearly written grammatically correct english can go a long way. The first thing we should focus on is the greeting. It is the first thing we do when we meet a person or want to strike up a conversatoin/ask for help. Be sure to pick someone with a friendly IGN (In Game Name)

Always say what you want from them as quickly as you can. The faster you do this the easier it is to hold a conversation. But whatever you do... avoid saying something grotesque like this:
